Two Outfits

This is what I wore to my fourth swing dance class. I had been wearing trousers for the past two weeks but I got a bit sick of it and felt the need to wear a skirt, instead.

Top: Deborah K - I had to put the brooch on because the button kept popping open!
Belt: ?
Skirt: Op-shopped, borrowed from mum
Stockings: stockingshq.com
Shoes: Big W

I think I'm doing quite well in the classes - I've managed to keep up with most of the leads and I've been having a jolly good time, which I think is the most important thing.

Today, Mum and I had a little bit of a day out.

Dress: repro, bought from a stall at the Rock 'n' Roll Rendezvous
Stockings: Love Kylie
Shoes: Big W

We went to a couple of op-shops but I didn't come away with all that much. I did manage to find a few lovely goodies, though.

I'm not even sure if the 45 plays well, or not, but I honestly couldn't care that much! I was just super excited to find it and it only cost me 50c. I'm not sure when the bed jacket dates from - I'd guess the 1960s; it was 2$. The pattern is ultra-80s but it includes one for a little playsuit that I think will be really cute for summer and it's the first pattern I've been able to find for one. I'm a little bit excited to get it made, now.

Love,
