The setting...
One warm summer evening, somewhere in South Australia, a young woman sits in her living room. The only light in the room comes from the coloured light wheel sitting beneath the silver Christmas tree, turning the room into a rainbow.

Tree and colour wheel found here.
The presents that couldn't fit under the tree are stuffed into hand-made Christmas stockings.

The costume...

The soundtrack...
The laughter and chatter of her family gently blends into the sounds of novelty Christmas music softly playing in the background.
I couldn't resist - this is my favourite Australian Christmas tune!
So, (an early) Merry Crimble to you all and good luck to everyone else who entered!

Love,
Andi B. Goode

ooh i love that colour wheel!
ReplyDeleteby the way, i was trying to make my blog layout into three panels just the other day but got so fed up with fiddling with html grrr is there some simple trick i'm not getting? blogs look so much nicer with three panels :)
Working retail killed off most of my excitement about christmas :( While I love the day itself, the months leading up to it make me the biggest grinch - I didn't feel I'd be able to put the right amount of joy into a post for SKM's contest. Yours is lovely though *crosses fingers for luck on your behalf*
ReplyDeleteVery cute and festive Andi!
ReplyDeleteYou have a blog award waiting for you on my site!
