Peppermint Twist

Now that I've got no essays to write, I not only have more time for blogging but I can catch up with my social life, too! This is what I wore out on Tuesday for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the mint accents worked with the bolder colours of the dress.

I bought these a little while back but haven't posted about them, yet - they're the second pair of saddle shoes that I own and it's quite nice to not always have to wear the black and white ones. Now I can wear saddle shoes with more outfits. Huzzah!

I'm also completely in love with my new sunglasses. They're so round and the perfect colour! And, of course, I love how they can almost pass for '30s/'40s glasses like these. There are about 4 or 5 pairs on there at the moment I've got my peepers on, as well.

Edit: So, I've just realised the 'post comment' button/link isn't coming up on individual post pages and I'm not sure why. The comments and 'post comment' option are still visible on the front page, though until I figure something out.

  7. OMG so many wonderful things to comment on! First, the new blog header is supremely awesome. Second, I love the entire outfit, the mint looks great with the plaid. Third, I completely agree about the sunglasses! I recently saw those online and wondered if they'd really have that look but wow, they totally do on you! I totally want a pair now. LOL And fourth, the brown saddle shoes look great! Fun for a change from the black.

  10. Gah!!! This entire outfit is amazing! Those sunglasses especially. ;) I've been snatching them up left and right this year since there are so many styles that are dead ringers for 30s/40s/50s styles. Got to get 'em while I can! ;)
