We had yet another sunny (winter) day on Friday, which coincided with my coffee date with a (very lovely) new friend. It was such a nice day that I didn't even need to wear a cardigan at all!
Outfit details: ribbon - Spotlight; sunglasses - asos; blouse - etsy; 1930s skirt - Red Ruby vintage; belt - ?; socks - ?; shoes - Payless; bracelets - various.
I love seeing other vintage ladies with their bangles all the way up their arm but I tend to find having too many things on irritates me. This is the most I've been able to wear, to date.
I've been quite attracted to green, lately - the uniform for my first high school was bottle green and I absolutely hated it, but now it doesn't seem so bad. About four of my latest etsy purchases have been green and this blouse was the latest to arrive. It was listed as 1950s but I'm not 100% sure that's right (I think it might be later) - either way, it's adorable and fits me almost perfectly.
It hasn't been long since I posted my ukulele videos, but I'm wearing the same outfit in this one, so I thought I may as well post it with these photos. I'm singing The Beatles' For No One, this time. You can also see my friend and I singing Lou Reed's Satelite of Love here if you're interested.
Love,

ReplyDeleteI was thinking of you the other night, because they had a ukulele group playing at the Gov when we were there for dinner (2 for 1 pizza night! ♥)
I love your bangles, I really need more bangles! I can never get my big man hands through vintage ones :o(
ReplyDeleteI just watched a couple of your videos, how lovely to see you with a little smile! I completely adore 'fly me to the moon' one of my fave songs, it always puts me in a happy mood. x
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely in green!! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd a big swoon at The Beatles cover... probably my favourite band of all time!! :D xoxo
You look so good in green! Such a great colour for fair skinned brunettes like yourself :)
ReplyDeleteYour sunglasses are so cute! :)
ReplyDeleteLove this! The bangles are so cute... It's a look I've been wanting to sport myself but would probably get annoyed at them (it's the same reason I don't have a lot of tops with long sleeves, and those that do are constantly pushed up my arms!). Plus I don't have that many colorful bangles. hehe!
ReplyDeletegreen + navy + white = adorable combination!
ReplyDeleteThis is a rockin' outfit! I love!
ReplyDeleteI just spent a good amount of time browsing your blog. Definitely is up there in my favs now!
I love your uke videos! You're sounding amazing. Next year you will have to head to the Blue Mountaisn to be in the massive Ukestra they have at the folk fest!
