Jeepers Creepers!

I haven't much felt like taking outfit photos lately (when I've actually been getting dressed, anyway) so today you only get some not-so-great iPhone photos. I wore this to town on the weekend for Free Comic Book Day - it's not entirely different from an outfit I've worn in the past but my hair is not styled as much and I'm wearing my new creeper style shoes.

Outfit details: 1950s cardigan - etsy; vintage brooch - etsy; singlet - Target; belt - gift; pants - Miss Hussy; socks - Rubi Shoes; creepers - Rubi Shoes.

I've loved creepers for longer than I can remember though I've never owned a pair of them. Creepers must be in style a bit right now? Because these were from a cheap chain shoe store...I'd still love a nicer pair but between trying to find something I love, that's vegetarian/vegan and affordable (for me), well, it might be a while before my feet slip into another pair besides these.

Blurry. Oops.

As well as getting free comic books (and buying one), I did a little bit of record shopping...and found one of the most amazing picture records ever:

Yep. This is undoubtedly the best record in my collection now.

I also picked up this Eruption LP. I've always loved I Can't Stand the Rain but had never heard any other songs. This album is brilliant. I do love a good disco tune!

Apologies again for the slight lack of quality in this post...but I think the RuPaul record makes up for it.

  1. Eeee Andi, I think this is an absolutely WONDERFUL post - you have nothing to apologize for! Even the iPhone pictures look lovely <3

  2. I am so jealous about the Ru Paul record

  3. What a charmingly cute kitchen you have, Andi! Your outfit is darling, too. Those pants are so marvelous and versatile (I fall into the camp of those who think a classic leopard print can almost be considered a neutral), and I just adore you beaded cardigan!

Wishing you a fantastic Monday & week ahead,
    ♥ Jessica

  4. I've been kind of wishing I still had the creepers I wore back in the 80s/90s--they do seem to be cool again! I love that cardigan, Andi.

  5. I adore creepers, you looks so cute, I need those pants. And those pineapple jars are fabulous! xxx

  6. wow your hair is so long now!!! it looks really good on you. I almost did not recognize you. you remind me of a teddy girl with this outfit. i am loving your shoes too!

  7. One of the first cassettes I ever thrifted was RuPaul...we popped that baby in and cruised around blasting it from the speakers of the Mercury we were driving. Great day, lol.

    Hurray for RuPaul thrift finds!

  8. You can't beat a bit of disco.

Those leopard trousers are superb too!

  9. I adore the white sweater that you are wearing! So lovely!

  10. Wow that RuPaul record is awesome! The only picture record I have is my Strawberry Shortcake one from childhood. Ha ha! Not exactly the same ballpark.

I've barely gotten dressed up or set my lately either as I've been working from home so much. When it's me and the pets... eh. :P Your outfit is super cute, I love the little gold on your belt with the hot hot leopard pants!

  11. I love your outfit and I think the photos look fantastic! They have a real vintage look, like you took them 50 years ago! I use my iphone for ALL of my pictures, half the time I think they actually look better than when I try using my real camera :p

  12. Cute outfit and made even a little cuter by the iPhone photos! :) Your cardigan is super lovely.

  13. *heehee! Peek-a-Ru! I see you! What songs does that album have..?? I love "Don't be Jealous of My Boogie" ! hahaha! Do you get RuPaul's Drag Race on TV over there? ~ what a great show...I never realized what a huge investment those guys make to be a Queen until I began watching. $$$$ wow. Anyway..<3 RuPaul and would love to meet him.

  14. Love the hair, the creepers and the socks! And RuPaul has been my idol since I was four!

  15. This entire outfit just makes me want to raid your closet. I know I've been stale with my looks lately, but yours really do inspire me. Again, I hope that doesn't come off as insincere. AND RUPAUL FOR THE WIN GURL OMG WHAT. haha.

I read and greatly appreciate each and every comment. Thank-you! x
