Mustard and a velvety collar

So far I've started the text for this post about 5 or 6 times but can't seem to finish it.  I guess this is my opening, now! Anyway, this is what I wore to uni and to meet up with a friend, last Friday. It was the end of a particularly stressful week (I envision many more in my future, this year) and I was glad to finally have the chance to wear this dress. It's new new and a little bit cute.

Just noticed that my hair-clip isn't in properly in these photos! How annoying.

I like the velvety Peter Pan collar.

I'm don't know what else to write having just tried to madly finish my draft introduction and knowing I have to start the first chapter of my thesis today, as well. I'm not sure what my blog is going to be like, this year - I feel like too many outfit posts gets a bit boring but I suppose, for now, I'll just take it as it comes.

  1. This colour looks great on you, I love mustard and red hair. Beautiful stormy Autumn colours and photos.

  2. You look adorable, love mustard on you! xx

  3. Very cute! Stylish as always, Andi :)

  4. Sweet Andi, I really don't think you could be boring if you tried. Your outfit (and all other kinds) of posts are always so wonderfully fun, enjoyable and inspiring, fear not.

Wishing you all the best with your thesis,
    ♥ Jessica

  5. Mustard looks fabulous on you and the collar is incredibly cute.

  6. Ha, sometimes writing *anything* is such a struggle. Or coming up with post titles! The pictures speak for themselves though - adorable dress (peter pan collars, always killing it), perfect belt pairing (or did it come with it?), & creepers. Yes, please. Also, while unintentional, the stormy sky behind you is pretty epic.

  7. Aww that my doll is a perfect outfit on you! Love it! You look super cute and super classic :) Have a lovely week! Zoë xxx

  8. Isn't mustard just a spectacular colour? I love how you've accessorized it with that oh so lovely velvet collar! Very nice indeed :)

  9. Ahhh, you look so perfect! Velvet is about my favoritest thing ever and the contrast of black and mustard looks amazing! Can I also say your new hair is THE cutest?? It's so early '50s through '60s to me and looks like it'd be a great versatile haircut!

I read and greatly appreciate each and every comment. Thank-you! x
