Dancing shirt

Looks like I took an unintentional break, again. I just haven't been in a blogging mood, lately, and I didn't want to post a lot of filler and half-hearted bits and pieces. I'm not sure when I'll be posting again but Miss Fairchild will be staying with me this week, so I will hopefully have some photos from her visit. And then there's Oz Comic Con next weekend, which means more costume posts!

For now, I thought I'd share an outfit from last week - it's my favourite outfit that I've put together in a long time. I've not been feeling very creative, especially in terms of clothes, so I was pretty proud of this one.

I'm enjoying shorter skirts, lately, and I love clashing patterns, so why not together?

I'm so in love with the pattern on this shirt that I got from savers. Also, it's a shade of green I swore I'd never wear after enduring the uniform of my first high school, but I quite like it, now. It's been long enough since I had to wear that uniform, and broken up with the dancing couples and stripes, I can bear it a bit more.

And cute, comfy, pointy shoes! Also from Savers.

I am still thinking about how I want to use this blog and how the content may change, and so on. Until then, I hope it won't be too long until my next post - at least the next week or so will provide me with some more material.

  1. I understand the difficulty in not being sure where you want things to go, as well as not being sure how people will react to any changes you do eventually make.

I can't want to see your future costume posts!

Also, I want you to know that you are a constant source of inspiration for me and remain one of my favorite bloggers, no matter how long it is between posts! Your style is fun, creative and unique! And I love how you mix and match and that you have costume posts!

  2. Ohhhh my gosh! I'm thrilled that you and Miss Fairchild will be getting together for a fabulous blogger meetup. You're both two of my favourite Australian vintage loving ladies and I can't wait to hear about the stellar time that you have!
