I've been pretty slack at taking outfit photos, lately. I haven't touched a camera aside from my iPhone in what seems like months (but is probably less). But here are a couple of outfits that I've worn somewhat lately - this post has been sitting in my drafts for quite some time, as I keep forgetting about it.
Both outfits include the new(ish) pair of jeans I've been loving (from Target). Some days, wearing tights and a dress somehow seems like more effort than a blouse and pair of pants! So, I'm glad to have at least one pair I can put on, on those days.
Aside from the jeans everything else I'm wearing is secondhand or vintage.
How amazing is this blouse? I love it so much. The pintuck pleats, the bright floral pattern on the black background, that pointy collar! Ahhhh.
I really wish I had a cute leather(look) jacket to top this outfit off. With the creepers and nearly-all-black, I feel like I'm going back to the outfits I would have worn nearly 10 years ago. Ha.
I love my hair a lot, lately. I'm generally just letting it do it's natural thing. I miss being a redhead but I love being a brunette, again, and it's just so much easier to maintain.
What do you wear on those days you want to be a little dressed up but kind of can't be bothered?
These outfits are great!
ReplyDeleteAnd, yes! I totally know what you are talking about. Lately when I get kind of grumbly about getting dressed I find myself in my uniform of a western wear shirt and Freddies.

Thanks, Janey :D
DeleteThat sounds like a pretty good go-to option! :) x
Lovely outfits Andi, I just love the details on that floral blouse! I tend to wear slacks and a breton top on more casual days x
ReplyDeleteThank-you, Sarah :) Yes, isn't it lovely? Ooh, that sounds like a lovely combination too :D x
DeleteGod you look fabulous.
ReplyDeleteRachel
Thanks, Rachel :D
DeleteThat floral blouse is amazing! It has a subtle Liberty of London vibe, but is more relaxed and cool - sort of like tiny flowers that play by their own rules, if that make senses. :) You look fantastic in both outfits, dear Andi.

Thank-you, Jessica. And yes, it does make sense! Thanks, again :D x
DeleteCreepers and leather jacket is so badass, i cant believe those jeans are target or (tarjeey) lol. They look good. Tell me how much and what are the ankles like? Did u have to hem in side seam or is it a good stretchy ^=^
ReplyDeleteThanks :) they're $40 and I'm not entirely sure what you mean? They're stretchy and I basically just leave them as they were. :)
DeleteI find rtw jeans really baggy in the ankle, too much stretch in the material and too much length im like 5'4, so i always have to turn up jeans, what height are you?
DeleteThey're not baggy in the ankle but they do bunch up a little. It doesn't look bad because they're so tight but with certain shoes I do fold them up. I'm 5'3 :)
DeleteNew to your blog, and that blouse is TOTALLY amazing! I want oneee :)
ReplyDeleteHi Sue! Welcome haha. Thank-you :D I think it's my favourite blouse, right now :D
DeleteAah perfect ensembles, love the black jeans. Yeah you would rock the crap outta a leather jacket x
ReplyDeleteThanks, Hannah! Yeah, I think I'm gonna have to get one :D x
DeleteThis floral blouse is so beautiful... And the long pointed collar, wonderrful.
ReplyDeleteI want a shirt like that!! :)
